George's Caribou

Tennessee Bullet Molds LLC started in 2011 to help fill a void in semi-custom mold manufacturers within the musket shooting community that occurred when one of our primary suppliers retired. The owner/operator of TBM is a long time target shooter and hunter using black powder arms. He has 12 gold medals in national competitions and has set 5 national records using muzzle loading rifles. Descending from the Gompf/Gumph family of gunsmiths originating in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, he has built many muzzle loading rifles which have been used to set some of the national records achieved. He recently took a large Barren Ground Caribou using an 1855 artillery musket while hunting in Alaska. He has taken many deer and other game animals using black powder arms.

George shot on the US International Muzzle Loading Team from 2003 through 2008 and represented the US in one pacific Zone competition and in 2 world championships. As a competitive shooter of close to 50 years experience he has shot in local, state and world competition in both the US and Europe and uses all the products produced by TBM. George is presently an endowment member of the National Rifle Association, a member of the Varmint Hunters Association, a member of the National Muzzle Loading Rifle Association, and the North�South Skirmish Association, shooting in the Deep South Region on the Forrest Escort Company team. He is the Skirmish Director for the team and also an NRA certified Rifle, Pistol, and Shotgun instructor.

On the professional side George is a Senior Member of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers and a member of the American Society for Quality where he holds CQA certification. He has been employed in various industrial positions as a design engineer for the past 30 years and holds a MS degree in Manufacturing Engineering.

TBM strives to produce the highest quality bullet mold for the skirmisher, hunter and target shooter. The bullet design is the result of years of experience.
