This is a Chief's Grade trade gun. The barrel is an original 20 ga barrel I found at the Kalamazoo gun show. It was in unused condition, probably Belgian in origin. Back in those early days, we used what we could find, as barrelmakers weren't offering any round barrels. Stock is a nice piece of hard maple, L&R Early Trade lock, and standard trade gun hardware. Buttplate is nailed on with square iron nails.
